 Now Hiring: Seasonal Maintenance Workers – City of Florence

The City of Florence is seeking reliable, hard-working seasonal maintenance employees to support the Parks, Streets, and Public Works departments. Positions typically last 3 to 6 months.

Requirements

• Six months of grounds maintenance experience is highly desirable.
• Experience using lawnmowers, weed eaters, and common power tools preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building and grounds maintenance is helpful.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and DMV check.
• Good attendance and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.

Job Duties

• Clean and maintain public facilities.
• Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance duties.
• Maintain City properties, parks, streets, and public areas.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Schedule and Pay

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. Occasional Saturdays may be required as needed.

Rate of Pay: $18.43 per hour
