This website works great in Oregon, but a better tool for finding a provider that takes Regence outside of Oregon is their national site – https://www.bcbs.com/member-services/find-a-doctor.* Covered employees can start there then call Regence’s customer service line to get confirmation and any necessary details. Remember, when you call Regence Customer Service Representatives, they stand behind the price they quote you on customer service calls.
- Have your Group Health Insurance card with you for reference.
- Make a note of the Day/Time/Date you called.
- Note the name of the Customer Service person you spoke with.
- Regence representative can walk you through your upcoming visit, the cost of medication, or other medical expenses. Be sure to write down the prices you were quoted.
- They can let you know if the doctor or facility is in the network and what the cost will be.
- You do not need to try to decipher 5 pages of a benefits summary to determine what the cost will be after insurance.
- And you get to speak to a real human to answer any questions!
