Governor Brown put forward an executive order to slow the spread of COVID-19 in Oregon. She issued Executive Order 20-05, which outlines rules that limit large public gatherings and ensure social distancing for the next four weeks. In her press conference this morning, the Governor affirmed her commitment, not only to public health, but to ensure that local businesses have the support they need to weather this health crisis. This includes support for small businesses that may be unduly impacted and face financial hardship.
